Each year the Wake County AOH cleans up the grave site of Governor Thomas Burke, our division’s namesake. This year’s visit is scheduled for Saturday July 15th. We will meet at the grave site at 10:30am.
NOTE: This is not a rain or shine event – if there is inclement weather the event will be postponed to a later date.
If you are joining us in this activity prepare to get your hands and feet dirty by bringing work gloves and boots. We will be walking through a cow pasture to access the site. Also bring tools if possible – blower, weed trimmer, rake, or shovel for example.
